Class of 2019

The Class of 2019 attended the annual Graduation Ceremony in September. It was a time to celebrate all the hard work and determination it takes to complete a higher level qualification in the presence of distinguished guests, family and friends.

Interim Principal of the College, Christine Ricketts, welcomed everyone, moving onto an address from Councillor Mary Sheldon, Mayor of Elmbridge and Dr, Dave Ellis, Interim PVC/Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at Oxford Brookes University.

Graduates were celebrating higher education and professional qualifications in Accounting, Children’s Special Education Needs, HR Management, Early Years Care and Motorsport Engineering.

Christine said “A higher level qualification is not just about the qualification, it means so much more, It’s about your personal journey and the other skills that you have learnt along the way, many of which will be transferable as you progress through life and you experience different jobs in different settings. We are extremely proud to have over 73 graduating students this year, many of whom have completed their courses alongside full time work and family commitments.”

Drinks and canapés were served in the contemporary Art & Design building, where graduates celebrated their achievement with friends and family.
