Our students worked extremely hard on their projects and it was great to see the positive impact it had on their confidence, teamwork, presentation skills, and creativity.

Level 2 students competed first, followed by Level 3 students. Presenting on an AI development they have created and put in place based on a chosen area to support positive change in the future.

Brooklands College was represented by the following students.

Level 2 T Level IT group

Oliver Holley
Tom Whitear
Edward Gorham

Level 3 T Level IT group
Azan Muhammad
Phillip Makokoro
Syed Murtaza
Jaryd Osiecki

The two groups worked incredibly hard and made a great impression on the judges. The competition was very tight and was split by marginal points. Our Level 2 group were runners up and received excellent feedback from the judges. Our Level 3 group came third, and not only impressed the judges but also earned them well-deserved Certificates for Achievement for their ingenuity and dedication. Their project centred on developing of an AI-Powered Image Description Generator.

Congratulations to the winners from L2 at Nescot College and L3 students from East Surrey College and well done to all students who took part to show off the real impact of AI.

Kudos to my exceptional student team for their outstanding achievement, and there are many more milestones on their journey towards success.
