We Need Surrey Volunteers

Would you be interested in supporting our students to return to onsite education safely? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are appealing for more volunteers to join our COVID Testing Centre to help administer Lateral Flow Tests to students and staff.  

Hours: Variable hours available between 8:00am and 6.00pm | Monday – Friday

Location: Weybridge and Ashford Campuses, Surrey

Duration: From 8th March 2021, minimum 3 weeks

You will work as part of our team in one or more of the following roles:

• Registration Assistant – responsible for ensuring students and staff have registered and distributing test kits on arrival.
• Test Assistant – responsible for directing students to testing stations and providing them with guidance on how to self-administer tests to support the sample taking process
• Sample Processor – responsible for preparing the test kit and process the test samples to obtain a result.  As this is a physical role, applicants need to be able to physically stand for several hours.
• Results Recorder – responsible for recording test results using an online system from within the testing centre.

We are looking for volunteers who are friendly, committed, have excellent communication skills and are able to follow strict guidelines and policies.

 Online training will be provided and will need to be completed prior to starting. The college will provide all the necessary PPE required and refreshments. On-site free parking is available.
