University & Me: Tadgh

The option of going to university can present itself in many ways. It may be something you’ve always dreamed about doing, it could be essential for the career you’d like to go into, or it just ends up being a natural stage of progression. 

Ready to head off to university, Level 3 Business student Tadhg shares his story. 

Having previously been unsuccessful in his educational route, Tadgh found a new lease on life at Brooklands College. He is pleased that the College course gives him the essential qualifications needed to progress onto university. 

Tadgh had always planned to go to university, he has received a Triple Distinction Star and will be studying Politics & International Relations at Royal Holloway in 2021. “I like the university because it’s local to me, has a great reputation, good lecturers and the general experience there should be good.” He would like to become a teacher in the future 

Tadgh thoroughly recommends studying at Brooklands College. “I’ve had so many great experiences here. Being here has led to so many things… I’ve got two jobs, I’ve completed some incredible work experiences, I’ve made incredible friends and I’ve had great teachers. it’s really been worthwhile.”
