#TeamBrooklands: Andrew Barrett

We introduce you to the people behind the scenes who are instrumental in the day-to-day smooth running of Brooklands College.

Andrew Barrett has recently made the step up from a technician in the Construction department to his new lecturer role.

With a passion for politics and history, one of his hobbies is reading science fiction books. Making an impressive start, 23-year-old Andrew is committed to his professional development.

“Andrew has always shown a keen interest in working with students and supporting them to learn and develop their skills,” said Interim Principal, Christine Ricketts. “For Andrew, this is a natural progression and an inspiring message to all of our students and staff.”

This feature was published in the June 2019 edition of the College’s new half-termly magazine, BC Vision. We look forward to following Andrew’s progress as the year progresses.
