Supporting Two Great Initiatives

As selected by our Student Union, we are proud to support two charitable causes this Christmas, bringing joy to local children over the festive season and helping to tackle starvation due to poverty.

Eagle Radio’s 2018 Christmas Toy Appeal helps benefit less fortunate children locally through the generous donation of toys, who would have not otherwise received a present this Christmas.

With 13 million people living below the poverty line in the UK, and as selected by the Brooklands College Student Union (BCSU), we are also delighted to support the Trussell Trust Food Appeal. The appeal aims to “stop UK hunger” and accepts the donations of non-perishable food items that may be small everyday necessities such as canned soup to tea bags.

We are asking our students to donate toys and non-perishable food to these appeals this Christmas.
