Science Activities for Babies and Young Children

Students studying the L1 Award in caring for children have been working on the assignment CFC21 Science activities for babies and young children.

The students introduced new and exciting experiences for the children, and developed the children’s learning through encouragement and positivity, introducing the science behind the activity.

Science encourages and teaches children how to discover and wonder about everything in the world around them. Scientific thinking and the desire to explore and investigate can be used to your advantage in the classroom. You can use children’s natural curiosity to interest them in taking part in the different activities, and offer new experiences.
