MP Positive For New Term

We had the pleasure of receiving Dr Ben Spencer, MP for Runnymede and Weybridge, at our Weybridge campus. This was a positive meeting with our senior officials, discussing the preparations to safely reopen the College to students in September. 

Dr Ben Spencer remarks how schools and colleges in the local area have effectively supported students through a difficult period of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

“Brooklands College is already seeing an increase in people reviewing their own circumstances and expressing interest in retraining due to the economic impact.” Together with the new government incentive, Dr Ben Spencer also notes how apprenticeships have sprung a new lease of life for those in need of a new career path.

He is confident about the work being carried out to ensure the safety of all, and is also pleased with how the community has come together to help each other.
