Grand Champions

Brooklands College is proud to announce that the Big Idea Challenge 2020, Schools & Colleges Grand Champion is Travel Pack!

This innovative concept has been developed by our IT students Leila & Matthew. The ultimate festival backpack is made from recycled material and doubles up as a tent to make the most of the great outdoors. And, if that was not enough, a percentage of each product sale would be donated to homeless charities in the UK. 

The Big Idea Challenge is an enterprise initiative by London Metropolitan University. Students across the nation competed in numerous rounds, pitching their ideas and working with mentors to develop their projects. The public audience then voted on these ideas to determine the winners. 

We commend the team, not only on their business acumen of creating an environmentally friendly product and taking the prestigious title, but also for the inspirational charitable nature. Congratulations Travel Pack!
