Support the young Entrepreneurs of tomorrow!

The Big Idea Challenge returned to Brooklands College in December 2018. A group formed of three level 3 Business students emerged as the winning entry for the College, competing against 80 students from across the College. The group then progressed to the bootcamp stage at the headquarters of Natwest, in London. Read on to find out how you can support the young entrepreneurs of tomorrow…

The group participated in an idea development and pitching session, pitching the idea of Pipa, a water pipe containing a small turbine, to the three esteemed judges, Simon Lovegrove (Assistant Principal), Steve Brice (Governor) and a graduate of the London Metropolitan University’s Guildhall School of Business and Law, Kevin Simpson. The turbine harnesses the movement of water flowing through the pipe before converting it into renewable energy.

Recognising the critical factor in only 15% of the UK’s energy originating from a renewable energy source, the group’s message is clear: “Pick the pipe for your plumbing!”

Pledge your support for our three entrepreneurial Business students by casting your vote now.
