Early Years Higher Education Foundation Degree

Our Early Years Higher Education Course is run by highly experienced lecturers, who have an excellent record of success with their students. The lecturers offer both practical and pastoral support and have a good understanding of the challenges facing people who study part time.

• The modules covered provide in depth study of essential elements of practice such as safeguarding, reflective practice, early years pedagogy and communication.
• We are the only partner college to offer day time lectures, and these will be on a Wednesday from 12pm to 5.30pm during term time.
• Most of our graduates move on to more exciting and rewarding roles that enable them to put their studies into good practice

The Foundation Degree in Early Years is now “Full and Relevant” according to the Department for Education. This means that even if you do not have a Level 3 Licence to Practice, you would be able to gain this through undertaking the Foundation Degree in Early Years.

The full BA (Hons) in Early Years is now also “Full and Relevant” according to the Department for Education. This would give you Level 6 Licence to Practice, making you more marketable as you would be counted in Level 6 ratios. In addition, you would be contributing to improving outcomes for children in your setting.
