Enrolment Information

Enrolment is your final stage of becoming a student at Brooklands College. It is when you officially become a student at College. Everyone needs to enrol. Whether you are a studying full time, part time or an apprentice, you will need to enrol before you can start classes in September. Start your journey with us today!

If you have already applied and hold an offer of a place you will receive your enrolment email in mid-July. If you haven’t yet applied to study at our College in September 2024, or looking to transfer over to us, it is not too late. You will find all the enrolment information you need on this page. Please read carefully and ensure you have all necessary documentation required.

Course Entry Criteria
Your offer is conditional on meeting the required course entry criteria, exam results, and satisfactory references. If your grades are unexpected, alternative courses and enrolment options are available. Our Admissions Team and Careers Team will be available to discuss the most suitable level of course for you.

For enrolment you will all need:
– Original Examination Certificate or Notification of Results Slip
– Exam Access Arrangements Documentation
– Bursary Application (if applicable)
– Proof of ID
– National Insurance Number

Public Services and Sports Kit List

The Safeguarding Team will be available at enrolment to meet any applicants at enrolment if any the following criteria apply.

  • Anyone who was known to Safeguarding Team at school
  • Anyone who has poor Mental Health / Anxiety
  • Anyone who has a social worker working with family.
  • Anyone who has not been in school (Home schooled)
  • Anyone who is Looked After Child (in care of local authority ) or Care Leavers
  • Young Carers
  • Anyone living with someone other than parents – Foster carers / SGO / other family
  • Anyone working with external services – CAMHS / Targeted Youth Support / Police/ Any other support worker/ East to West
  • Anyone with a criminal record
  • Anyone who would like to speak to Safeguarding Team.

 


You may be entitled to a Bursary, or Free College Meals

If you, your family are experiencing financial constraints and you may need help getting to college, please make an application to the Bursary Fund. Early application is very important If you think you are eligible for a Bursary/Free School Meals and wish to apply, please visit our Student Finance area on the website where you will find Bursary Forms.

Please download & print the Bursary application and return with all the relevant supporting evidence of your Household Financial Income (listed on the Bursary application) at the earliest convenience in August. If you wish to discuss your circumstances you can pop along to see the Bursary Administrator at Enrolment. Bursary applications are processed on a first come, first served basis until funds are exhausted as funds may be limited.
