Student Protection Plan
A Student Protection Plan is a document which aims to ensure that students can continue and complete their studies, or can be compensated if this is not possible.
It sets out what students can expect to happen should a course, campus, or institution close.
All registered Higher Education providers must have a Student Protection Plan in place, which has been approved by the Office for Students (OfS).
A Student Protection Plan provides an assessment of the risks to the continuation of your studies at the College
We have also outlined the protections we have in place for you as a student in the event that a risk to the continuation of your studies arises.
The measures contained in this plan are not intended to replace the protections which you are guaranteed under consumer protection law. Instead, they are in addition to these rights and protections.
The Office for Students have now released Condition E6 on Harassment and Sexual Misconduct as part of their Conditions of Registration, which will come into effect from August 2025.
We will add comprehensive detail here in response to the Condition in the coming months

Our Safeguarding & Wellbeing officers are here to support you by listening, providing information, advice and guidance, and signposting to additional services.
The policy applies to all members of the College community and relates to sexual misconduct perpetrated by:
• a student against a student or a member of staff;
• a member of staff against a student or a member of staff;
• a student or staff member against a third party.
